Cemetery Care

  1. Shrubs, bushes, and trees may not be planted in the cemetery.
  2. Only permanent and properly attached vases above the base of the grave markers and/or headstones will normally be permitted.
  3. Floral hangers must be implanted and touch the base of the grave markers. Other vases and containers will be permitted for a period of one week after a funeral or special occasion. Glass containers of any type are never permitted.
  4. All ornaments and other decorations not properly attached as per numbers 2 and 3 above will be disposed of.
  5. The Board has the discretion to remove any ornamentation or decoration which they shall deem to be detrimental to the appearance or upkeep of the cemetery.
  6. No improvements of cemetery lots will be permitted without permission of the Board.
  7. Graves may not be enclosed by fences, railings, copings, hedges, etc.
  8. The upkeep and appearance of headstones and grave markers are the responsibility of those purchasing a cemetery lot or grave. Expenses incurred from damage and repair are the responsibility of the purchaser.
  9. All persons are prohibited from writing upon, defacing, or injuring any monument or other property in or belonging to the cemetery.
  10. Only with the express permission of the Board will anyone be permitted to work in the cemetery.
